Trading Assistant ServiceWhen you select Rocky Mountain Online Auctions as your Trading Assistant, we don’t bog you down with complicated fee schedules and hidden charges. We won’t use the one-size-fits-all listing approach either, with cookie-cutter templates or over-inflated price packages that make you pay for optional services you might not need. Your quality new and used items and collectibles deserve a personalized approach and that’s what you get at RMOA.
There are two fees – just two – and they cover everything
from the time you decide to list until we hand you the final check. The Listing FeeThe listing fee is paid at the time clients contract with
us to put item on an auction. This
fee is based on the minimum acceptable selling price specified for the item,
and it covers all the expenses to get the item listed online and maintained
during the term of the listing. A
basic listing appears in one category and runs for 7 days with one photo. Optional listing enhancements may be
recommended, depending on the item you are selling. These allow you to add more photos, extend the listing to 10
days, add attention-grabbing highlights and more. While we make recommendations based on our selling experience,
the decision to apply any options is always up to the client. The CommissionThe commission is the percentage we deduct from the final selling price of your item when the auction is over and the item has been paid for and shipped. We pay all the closing fees that eBay charges, any applicable online payment fees and other expenses out of the commission. The rate gets lower as the selling price goes up, and if you run several auctions at once, the percentage will be based on the total sales that close on the same day.
Example: If you list 10 items that each sell for $75, your total sales are $750, which means your commission rate will be 20% of that total rather than the 26% rate that would be applied to each individual $75 sale. NEW Store Assistant ServiceOur new Store Assistant service is designed for retailers and volume sellers who want to list items on eBay for extended periods of time or who have an inventory of items they want to sell. Store listings appear in RMOA’s eBay store, RMOA Outlet, which is accessed by shoppers through a number of methods including this website and various pointers within eBay’s main marketplace. This service differs from the Trading Assistant service
and has a separate rate schedule. To
